Selfwise is a mobile application that provides:

• Daily selfie capture functionality
• AI-powered wellness insights based on your photos
• Integration with Apple Health data (optional)
• Historical tracking of your wellness journey

• The wellness insights provided are for informational and entertainment purposes only
• AI-generated insights should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice
• Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns
• Do not disregard professional medical advice based on information from this App
• If you think you have a medical emergency, call your doctor or emergency services immediately

4. User Accounts and Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use this App
• If you are under 18, you must have parental consent to use the App
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any data stored locally

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Upload images that are not selfies or photos of yourself
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the App
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Circumvent any security features or access restrictions
• Use automated systems or software to extract data from the App

6. Subscriptions and Payments

6.1 Trial and Subscription

• The App offers a free trial period for new users
• After the trial period ends, a paid subscription is required to continue using the App
• Subscription prices are displayed in the App before purchase

6.2 Billing

• Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period

6.3 Cancellation and Refunds

• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy
• We do not provide direct refunds for subscription purchases

7. Intellectual Property

• The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Selfwise
• You retain ownership of the photos you take using the App
• You grant us a limited license to process your photos for AI analysis purposes only
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services including:

• Google Gemini AI: For photo analysis and wellness insights
• Apple HealthKit: For optional health data integration
• RevenueCat: For subscription management
• Sentry: For crash reporting and app improvement

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

10. Disclaimers and Limitations

10.1 "As Is" Service

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Accuracy or reliability of AI-generated insights
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Selfwise, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

12. Changes to Terms

• We may update these Terms from time to time
• Changes will be posted in the App and on our website
• Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms
• Material changes will be notified through the App

13. Termination

• You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it
• We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms
• Upon termination, your locally stored data remains on your device until you delete it

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Selfwise operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved through:

• Good faith negotiation between the parties
• If negotiation fails, binding arbitration in accordance with applicable rules
• You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits against Selfwise

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
